Chuck Zegelbone

Chuck Zegelbone, is a recent Charlottesville convert after a 40+ year stay in Orlando, Florida. After graduating from Indiana University with BS in Marketing degree he received his commission in the United States Army attaining the rank of Captain before returning to civilian life in 1969. During his Orlando residency, he founded the marketing firm Concept Marketing Group and later the marketing consulting firm ChasZinc. Prior to starting the marketing firm, he honed his bona fides at CBS, Time Inc’s suburban newspaper division in Chicago, Marin County California daily newspaper the Independent Journal, and the Orlando Sentinel where he established the paper’s first in-house ad agency.  Chuck spent sixteen years consulting at KPMG on a contract for the Florida Department of Transportation to brand Florida’s Turnpike, introduce and expand electronic tolling, and launch express lanes throughout Florida.

 He is the recipient of numerous creative awards for innovative marketing concepts including a Clio nomination for a pro bono campaign for a non-profit.

 Chuck has been involved throughout his career in non-profit volunteering serving 2 terms as chairman of the board of the Florida Affiliate American Diabetes Association,  Board of Directors of Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida, Give Kids the World, and 16 years on the Board of Directors Florida Citrus Sports.
