Dawn Nagy

Dawn Nagy joined the World Federation of Youth Clubs (WFYC) in 2021 as Director of Strategic Advancement. Established in 2019, WFYC is an international federation serving organizations who work to meet the needs of underserved youth around the world.
Prior to her role at WFYC, Dawn worked as the Director of Community Investments for Lift Orlando, a Purpose Built Community focused on holistically addressing the needs of families made vulnerable due to decades of discriminatory policies and racial injustice in downtown Orlando. Dawn’s career includes over 20 years in the non-profit field with organizations that focus on education, poverty alleviation, and underserved children. This includes roles in fundraising and program development with Rollins College, Children’s Home Society of Florida, A Gift For Teaching, and Orange County Public Schools.
For more than 15 years Dawn has served as a lead volunteer advocate in the state of Florida for international organizations focused on ending extreme poverty, eliminating preventable disease, and empowering women and girls. Through her work with CARE USA, The ONE Campaign, and U.S. Global Leadership Coalition, Dawn advocates for U.S. legislation and funding to support the most marginalized people around the world.
Dawn earned a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida and has an MBA from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida.
